Southampton Branch has cast off and is underway!

Work has started on expanding SCDF membership in the Southampton area. Indeed an exciting collaboration is already underway; SCDF is supporting the establishment of a ‘Design Centre’ at the University of Southampton.
The Southampton group will hope to add a product and manufacturing element, based on its world renowned marine skills, to SCDF, complementing our growing reputation in the built environment and graphic design areas.
The aim is to formally launch the branch with a bit of style early in 2009.
Designers and enthusiasts who want to be involved at the beginning of this exciting venture should email the Forum Director Peter Spence pspence@scdf.org.uk
If you are an architect, landscape designer, interior designer, fashion designer, graphic designer, web designer, photographer, product designer, furniture designer or just a design enthusiast come and join us at one of our regular networking events. Nothing to pay apart from buying yourself a drink. Bring plenty of business cards!
You will be able to develop links with likeminded people, have a drink, be sociable and let the creative juices flow!
