RTPI Urban Design: The Art of Making Successful Places - Rob Cowan

This masterclass by the Royal Town Planning Institute is being delivered locally by Rob Cowan a director of the Urban Design Group. This day-long session will address:
- The economic, social and environmental value of urban design
- The role of CABE
- The qualities of successful places
- The form of development
- Architectural design issues
- Design and access statements: when, where, how
- Urban design appraisal
- Government policy and guidance
- The urban design toolkit and the new planning system
NB: There will be a minimal charge of £25 for all attendees for this event.
If you are an architect, landscape designer, interior designer, fashion designer, graphic designer, web designer, photographer, product designer, furniture designer or just a design enthusiast come and join us at one of our regular networking events.
