UK Design Skills Alliance

The UK Design Skills Alliance is in the middle of an exciting project that will identify and clearly describe the professional skills that make a successful designer or design manager.
We‘ve been working with professionals from the design industry and design education on this project and we are now at stage where we want to get the views of more people working in the design industry.
Could you help us by completing this short survey about what skills, activities and knowledge are important for designers to work effectively?
The survey should only take around fifteen minutes to complete and can be found here.
The final set of skills that we come up with will be created into a set of guidelines which will be used to inform those who want to go into the industry as well as helping those already in it understand where they fit and how they can progress.
They’ll also be used to inform what’s being taught in schools and colleges.
The UK Design Skills Alliance is a group of leading industry and educational organisations led by Creative and Cultural Skills and the Design Council.
